Exchange blogger says iPhone+Exchange support falls short

 A well-known Exchange consultant/blogger, Paul Robichaux, has blogged this morning about the much-heralded Apple iPhone integration with Microsoft Exchange. 
His bottom line -- serious gaps exist in the functionality For example:

  • E-mail operations such as deleting and moving to folders require a live connection to the server.  In other words, no deleting while on a plane.
  • Calendaring and scheduling is weak, with a lack of basic functions such as the ability to initiate scheduling of a group meeting
  • Tasks -- no support

Tags
