Though the cost per Gigabyte of disk storage is falling, the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for maintaining disk storage continues to rise at an even faster rate, according to industry experts, possibly doubling by 2012!  So, the enterprise message to IT departments across the globe is simple:  reduce the growth of disk storage and in doing so, reduce its' TCO.  However, Microsoft shops have a big problem:  Microsoft Exchange 2007 has a huge appetite for disk storage space and takes a huge disk storage TCO byte out of the IT budget!  So, how does an enterprise customer deal with this Exchange 2007's love of disk space?  Switch to IBM Lotus Domino 8.5! and use Domino Attachment and Objekt Store.
